Every few months Paperweight asks an author to create a short story. That piece of writing is produced ten times and put in ten bottles before being cast into the Seine. In order to read it, the bottle must first be found. Should the finder want the contents, he/she must then smash it or wait until we have enough short stories to produce an anthology, then and only then will the writing be made available.
No one should ever have access to what you are reading. When you read online or purchase a book on the internet you are allowing others to monitor what you read. In a time of anti-romantic actions Prohibition Project is a symbolic gesture, a message in a bottle, a reminder that the world should have some secrets, some undiscovered treasures. That reading, much like writing, is private. Join us in the search for secrets and a place to put them.
Stay Out of My Booze, Stay Out of My Books, an anthology project coming soon from Paperweight.
